Product Details

Thin Air Culture is based upon the ideals that our mountain lifestyles embody. We've made choices with our materials and processes that we can be proud of. Below is a description of the choices we've made in the creation of our products. We hope our creative designs, mindful choices and all that Thin Air Culture represents inspires you to wear our logo with pride.

Water Based Inks:
Not only are water based inks much softer than traditional plastisol inks, making for a nicer feeling garment, but they are much more eco-friendly! Water based inks are PVC and Phthalate free and CPSIA approved for children's wear. There is no need to use chemicals in cleanup. This choice was easy to make!

Eco-Friendly Materials
Our tri-blend shirts are constructed of organic, U.S. cotton; polyester produced from recycled plastic bottles (6 bottles per tri-blend shirt that never make it to a landfill); and modal, a fiber from sustainably-farmed beech trees.

Ethically Produced Garments:
Safe and comfortable working conditions are a fundamental right.
The manufacturer of our t-shirts is dedicated to a transparent supply chain and ethical production standards. The LIFE facility located on the outskirts of Port-au-Prince, Haiti is BetterWork and WRAP certified and is open to visitors.
Makers earn more than 3x the going rate for like jobs in the area, an amount carefully calculated to support living expenses of a Haitian household.

Quality Apparel:
While our brand is built around a message we are proud of, we also want to provide amazing quality apparel from start to finish. We have chosen shirts that feel so good you will you want to put them on every day. These aren't your typical gift shop t-shirts!

Eco-Conscious Shipping Materials
We are using EcoEnclose Earth friendly mailers. These poly mailers are made from 100% recycled material, have a double enclosure so they can be resealed / reused, and they are recyclable. They are also very light weight and lack bulk, requiring less fuel for transport. they cost us a bit more, but it is worth every penny!
